West Oak Coffee
Another coffee shop to review. West Oak is pretty bomb. One of my favorite coffee shops in the DFW. There are a couple of reasons for this. When you walk into West Oak, the design will immediately have you admire the shop. 1920’s anyone? The music reflects the vibe. I love it. They serve coffee, tea, breakfast, dessert, lunch, dinner, and alcoholic beverages. Besides having beer on tap, they also have chocolate milk on tap. They come up with seasonal drinks. My favorite has been the fireside cortado.
They’ve even served a lucky charms latte. Yes please. I typically order a mocha when I visit West Oak. However, the drip coffee is delicious as well. I will bet any drink they conjure up will hit the spot. Johnathon always orders a shot of espresso and drip. Coffee lover. It’s such a neat shop. It’s definitely a popular one in Denton. They have vegan, vegetarian and GF options too. Johnathon has ordered their pie flight. Yes, pie. He said it was delicious. They also have a chocolate avocado muffin, and that’s pretty tasty as well. Check out the menu. If you’re there for breakfast, try the avocado smash. A dream come true. My favorite and recommended dessert is the espresso brownie. Trust, you’ll love.
Johnathon and I love West Oak. It brings back so many memories. We would always meet up at West Oak before our classes started. He’d get a cup of coffee and a sausage roll, and I’d always order a mocha. If you aren’t too familiar with the coffee shop openings in DFW, look out for my posts. I will be reviewing new shops soon. Kimzey’s you’re next.
