Spring Outfit: The Texas Way
I don’t know if you heard, but it’s been Spring in Texas since February. We hardly had a winter, which is a shame to be honest. Sadly, I can’t do anything about it. Our spring is like the North’s Summer. It’s 80 degrees, and we don’t need a light jacket. Fortunately, we can still wear jeans at the moment. Trust me, shorts, lightweight pants, skirts and dresses will be the only acceptable and livable outfits you can use during the Texas summer.
I got my black high-waisted distressed jeans at Pac Sun. The top is from Velvet Heart, but I bought it from TJ Max. I couldn’t find the exact one but here is one that is almost identical. Also, I found a closer match on the TJ Maxx website. Different brand but almost the same top. My shoes were also purchased at TJ Maxx but that was awhile ago. They’re from Steve Madden and this is the closest I could find from the same brand.
Wearing off the shoulder tops isn’t always fun, but it’s such a cute look. It’s a trendy piece, so I wouldn’t suggest buying 50+ different off the shoulder tops. BTW, yes that’s grass on my jeans. I was rolling around in the grass. Oh childhood. I hope you enjoyed this spring outfit. It was fun, easy, and legit only 3 pieces to it. Top, bottom, and shoes. Keeping it simple.
