My skin is fairly tan, so the one thing I don’t like is when I use a white primer on my face, and then I look like a ghost, or like I’m sick. I usually get that effect when I put on sunscreen. Guess what? This primer definitely leaves a white cast. How well does it diminish my pores? Not as well as the Dr. Brandt Pores No More Pore Refiner, or the POREfessional Face Primer by Benefit. For some reason, I was under the impression that it was also a mattifying primer, but it’s not. It doesn’t bunch up or separate my makeup, which I truly appreciate. I had that issue with one of the makeup forever primers, that I’ll review later on.
Does it make my makeup last longer? No. It does however make my skin a lot smoother. For my skin though, it’s not worth the money. I really enjoy IT Cosmetics products and I always have high hopes, but some products don’t work for me. If you’re interested in trying out the brand though, I would suggest checking out their makeup brushes and the CC + cream. It’s especially perfect during the summer and no make up makeup days.

It’s not a horrible product, and I will continue to use it until it’s all gone. However, I won’t be repurchasing it. What’s the best primer you’ve ever tried? So far, the Dr. Brandt Pore Refiner has been my favorite. I have oily acne-prone skin, and I’m also taking medication for my cystic acne. So my skin has been wanky because of the medication. My face is super sensitive, with a couple of dry spots, but it’s still oily. I also still have active breakouts, so my skin is taking me on a toll. I hate adult acne, but hey some of us have to deal with it. If you have any suggestions for skin care and make-up products I should use for my skin type, please leave a comment below letting me know which products, and I’ll check them out!
