How To: Mexican Mocha
Every time I go to a coffee shop and they advertise Mexican chocolate, it’s always spicy. Eh and I have to admit I have never tried it. I have tried spicy chocolate, and I’m not a fan. So I decided to go a different route. Besides Swiss Miss, my family always used Abuelita’s.
I added the chocolate tablet and milk into a pan. I mixed it all together until the chocolate completely dissolved. The hot chocolate came to a boil. I used my Nespresso this time to pull the shot. I mixed the shot and hot chocolate together. The chocolate itself contains notes of cinnamon, chocolate, and vanilla.
This recipe is for a single person, but if you want to use the whole tablet, just double the rest.
Mexican Mocha Recipe:
1/2 Abuelita chocolate tablet
1 cup of milk
1 shot of espresso
Suggestion: Top it off with whipped cream or marshmallows
