Best Coffee Makers
If you’re like Johnathon and I, you’ve probably splurged on more than one coffee maker. Our collection consists of:
- French Press
- Kalita Wave
- V60 Pour Over
- Nespresso Automatic Espresso Machine
- Breville Semi-Automatic Espresso Machine
My lovely co-worker, Lauren asked me about which coffee machines I would suggest. First thing you have to ask yourself is how much you want to spend. How important is quality, longevity, aesthetic, etc? Regardless of your budget if you truly want a great cup of coffee within a budget, manual/slow bar would be the best route. If you have about 10 minutes to make a cup of coffee, choose any of the above options minus the espresso machines. However, if you are looking for a quick cup of joe, and you’re going to add cream & sugar to your coffee, I’d say most coffee makers at Target, Walmart, Bed Bath & Beyond will do the job.
I will be posting how to use the manual coffee makers in the next coming weeks. So if you’re curious to go that route, I got you. Most of these machines have reviews on the websites, but I want to quickly go through them with you. My favorite coffee makers are the Nespresso options. Why? Firstly, the quality is always top notch. You get a quick brew without much work. All you do is pop in a capsule and press a button. It’s one of the quickest ways to get a delicious cup of coffee without the hassle. Also, you won’t waste a whole pot of coffee if you’re the only one drinking. That’s my winner.
