It was about 50-60 degrees the morning we shot this outfit. The wind cooled my coffee quicker than it normally would have. Magnolia Sous le Pont is a cute mixture of So Cal & NYC. I drank a mocha and Johnathon ordered drip coffee. For a brief moment I regretted wearing a jumper. As soon as I took a sip of my drink, I was immediately warmer. Thankfully that warmth lasted the whole shoot. Thank you, coffee. I love you. By the way, there are probably too many pictures on this post for one outfit.
- Olive Green Jumper (similar — I bought mine a year ago at TJ Maxx)
- Patterned White Cardigan
- Tory Burch Shoes (similar — I bought mine last summer at Nordstrom)
I’ve tried a bunch of different jumpers & rompers and this is one of my favorites. It doesn’t rise up at the front, like many shorts/pants typically do when I wear looser pants/bottoms. What I love about this jumper is how I can dress it up and dress it down. Plus, if you live in an extremely hot place (e.g., Texas), you will not want to wear jeans during the summer. Dresses, shorts, and jumpers are going to be my best friend this spring & summer. I can feel it. Ready for a mini rant? In the DFW area, we only had a couple of cold weeks.
The coldest day was probably 30 degrees Fahrenheit. It was more like we had chilly days versus an actual winter. It is so frustrating. One day it was 70 degrees and the next it snowed for a couple of hours. I hate the inconsistency of it. “I’m dreaming of a white Christmas”, yeah more like I’m dreaming for an actual winter. Four seasons would be nice.
Anyway, what are your favorite brands to shop for comfy summer and spring clothes? I am on the hunt to find patterned, flowy, stretchy pants. I’m 5’2, so finding pants that aren’t too long is a struggle. Taking a pair of Target pants to a tailor seems too inconvenient. I like shopping a little too much, so if you want to add to my collection, please do. Any and all recommendations are welcome.
